Cheap entry level DSP with 3-way crossover and 24-Band semi-parametric EQIt allows running the crossovers as F/R/S (front/rear/sub) or H/M/L (high/mid/low) and does allow bandpass for the midrange. You can connect to it via bluetooth (for some reason it shows up twice) to control it and to stream audio to it (4.2 A2DP). This appears to be the same model offered by the Russian company AurA/ENIGMA, who claims there is a possibility of firmware updates. The 24-band equalizer does appear to be parametric (with preset Q values) but the center frequencies cannot be changed. 45-20kHz +/- 9dB in 0.1dB increments. Phase can be inverted but not swept continuously. Time alignment can be set per channel; the left and right outputs on each of the 3 pairs can be adjusted individually. The USB is used to load audio files (FLAC, mp3) to be played on the device and provides 1.5A charging current. You get a pretty nice 3-way crossover, time alignment, and individual system and subwoofer gain (so basically a "Bass knob" and a system value knob) as well as the ability to turn the subwoofer off completely. Loudness and bass boost, gain can be set per channel as well as left and right and settings can be saved as presets. There's an English language manual available here: https://www.enigmatech.co.in/products/dsp-2-6 Limitations: The Q value on the parametric EQ can only be set in intervals starting at 1.0, it's not continuously variable. The center frequencies cannot be changed. The frequencies for the high and low pass crossovers are also preset and cannot be changed. The highest CX frequency that can be set is 12.5kHz, although when would you need to go higher? There are basically 3 paired (L/R) outputs, not 6 discreet outputs. The inputs cannot be summed or mapped arbitrarily. EQ is set globally, not per channel. While there are more capable products out there (and who knows, with a firmware update, this might be, too, but it's impossible to tell without knowing the DSP IC) it's pretty hard to beat a 3 way crossover (usually $50-100 alone) with an integrated 24 band equalizer, plus time alignment and the equivalent of a bass knob at this price. The next step up in features would probably be a Stetsom STX2436 for 2-3 times the price and 4 discreet outputs. Or the EXPERT PX2R, which also has discreet channels and 3 band per channel independent EQ. There's nothing really close to it for $55. I just hope the app keeps working and stays on the play store or it's going to turn into a paperweight with no other way to control it. Hardware: They laser etched the DSP so I'm not sure what's running it, appears to say 'YD' on it. The DAC chips are HT5010 with 105dB Dynamic Range and 90dB THD+N. The outputs are driven by JRC 4558 op amps at up to 3.5V.5
